CBT’s primary objective is to inform and engage their audiences but their website made this impossible. The site “was a jumble of outdated WordPress plug-ins that didn’t integrate well and that the staff did not understand”. They were forced to spend money on things that added no value and should have been working in the first place. The layout was outdated and made communicating their message challenging.
Smallbox was fortunate to have an all day discovery session in beautiful Tofino with staff members of CBT. Questions like “What do people go to the CBT website for?” and “How will the website help you do your role better?” had different answers depending on the role. Understanding these requirements and reflecting on how to combine these into a cohesive and versatile solution was the ticket to ride.
It was awesome to have your expertise on the project and I know it was a stretch to do the work within our available budget. It really means a lot to have such a dream team to work with - and I especially appreciate your efforts to learn about our mandate and understand our business.
